His Band - part 2The band that was once his
Is now lead by another
Today they stand tall as one
Pride shines in their eyes and
Glory beats in their hearts
They no longer cry out in pain
Instead they cry out with joy
Gold is the new color they see
Champions are what they are now

This is the band that was once his
But it is now lead by another
Together they stand tall as one
Together they've realized that
The don't need him any longer
They can stand on their own
With this new man giving orders
They're really starting to like him
For he's made them stronger

This is the band that was once his
Yet, now another leads it
He is lost back into the
His Band - part 1He bragged about his band
Everyday he told us stories
While he stood in the front
How good they played
How they made his day
How fun it was to be there
And finally we were going to be in his band
At last we could join them

But then, he made a heartbreaking decision
He left his band
All the glory and triumph lost
Buried under the sorrow and pained filled cries
We didn't want him to leave
We begged him to stay
"We'll be lost without you" we called out
But he still left, leaving no trail behind
"My selfish choice must take its toll" he replied

Now his band sits in the shadows
A line drawn between them
"It'll be okay, we'll gro
The Girl in the ColorsThe girl in the white is so sweet and pure
Not knowing what this cruel world really is
Or what it can do to you
Till the mother in black drank too much and took too many pills
Lost in the hils but never forgotten in the little girl's heart

The girl in blue cries out in pain
Never will she understand why her mother left her again
Sobbing in shock her father takes her away
Hoping and praying for a brand new day
But the monsters and terrifying screeches still haunt their sleep

The girl in the gray was covered in fear
Calling and crying for her mother to reappear
Moving around from place to place
A new home and face day by day
Until
As I?As I?

A new world I see
As I open my eyes into reality
They joke and laugh and play
But I see it in their eyes
Are they really as scared as I?

Or are they playing tricks on me
In this new world I've come to be
But with the hustle and bustle of this place
I see the words on every face
Are they really as confused as I?

They swim like schools of fish in the sea
As I sing the lone wolf's song
But they don't fit like peas in pods
They scream out terrified
But are they really as alone as I?
